(September 2010) Dr. Josette T. Biyo (nee Talamera) is a Filipino educator who received the Intel Excellence Award. She was the first Asian to win the award in the 2002 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair at Louisville, Kentucky. An asteroid, 13241 Biyo (1998 KM41), was named after her by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Lincoln Laboratory, USA.
