Rainiharo's tomb on the road from Soraka to Isotry.[1] Rainiharo (- 10 February 1852) was from 1833 to 1852 Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Madagascar. Biography Rainiharo came from the high nobility of the Merina people and had a military career. He became Queen Ranavalona I's second husband.[2] He became the prime minister of Madagascar in 1833.[3] In 1835 the tomb (pictured) was built by Jean Laborde at Isotry. This tomb would hold the bodies of Rainiharo and his two sons.[4] His sons Rainivoninahitriniony and Rainilaiarivony were his successors in the office prime minister and chief of the army.[3] Rainiharo died in 1852.[1] Literary Rainiharo is mentioned in The Fugitives by R.M.
