(February 2009) Reno Richard Rollé[1], (September 24, 1961) is the CEO of Red Rock Pictures Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: RRPH.OB), a film finance, film production, and film distribution company in Los Angeles, CA. Rollé was previously the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Studio Store Direct, Inc., a direct response entertainment marketing company, which was acquired by Red Rock Pictures in 2007. In 2007, Reno Rolle co-authored and published "The Ultimate Guide To Natural Health Quick Reference" with Nevada medical oncologist and anti-aging physician, James W. Forsythe M.D., H.M.D. Rollé previously held the position of CEO for Shop America USA. Based in Bradford, England and operating in U.S., Shop America specialized in long- and short-form direct response television (infomercial) marketing. During this time Mr. Rollé co-created the book and marketing campaign for "Natural Cures 'They' Don't Want You to Know About" (written by Kevin Trudeau). This book held the #1 spot on the NY Times Best Sellers List (in the category of Advice, How-to and Miscellaneous: Hardcover) for several weeks from 2005 to 2006[2] and has sold an estimated 7 million plus copies. In an article written by Christopher Dreher and published on Salon.com in 2005, (“What Kevin Trudeau doesn't want you to know”), Rollé weighs in on the controversy from an industry point of view. Prior to his experience at Shop America, Reno Rolle was a founding principle of the National Lampoon Acquisition Group, LLC an investment group that orchestrated the acquisition of J2 Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:JTWO) a small cap public company that owned the widely recognized comedic brand, National Lampoon, Inc. Mr. Rollé founded National Lampoon Home Entertainment in 2002 to produce and distribute National Lampoon branded DVDs. Between 1997 and 2001 Rollé was the co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Synergy Worldwide, Inc., a product engineering, design and marketing company. In 1999, Synergy produced "Mastering the Flow," a blackjack card counting program that became a long running and very successful gaming infomercial. In September 2000, Synergy was honored with one of the distinguished R&D 100 Awards[3] for Mr. Rollé's invention, The Spin Fryer. This award, referred to as the "Oscars of Inventions," by the Chicago Tribune recognizes the most technologically significant inventions in history. Past winners include: anti-lock brakes, the fax machine, the ATM (automated teller machine), and polarized film. The Spin Fryer was subsequently licensed to Salton, Inc. (NYSE:SFP) for marketing and distribution under the George Foreman line of kitchen products. Shortly after entering this deal, Salton fell into a lengthy period of financial tumult which lead to Synergy terminating its licensing agreement and reclaiming all rights to the Spin Fryer. In May of 2008, Synergy entered into a new licensing deal with Dynamic Response Group (NASDAQ:DRGP.OB) for design, engineering, marketing and distribution of new Spin Fryer appliances for both the household and institutional categories of trade. From 1994 to 1997 Reno Rolle was a co-founder of HSN Direct, a direct response television joint venture with Home Shopping Network, Inc. (NASDAQ: IACI) Mr. Rollé’s primary responsibility was to negotiate and manage the majority of HSND's contracts, including marketing and distribution, production, talent and joint venture agreements. In addition, Reno Rolle oversaw all aspects of new business development including: media, production, regulatory compliance and operations. Highlighting Mr. Rollé's tenure with HSND was his role in the development and launch of the Ab Isolator and EZ Crunch abdominal exercise products. In 1986, Rollé and his wife Lynn Rollé founded Rollé Ltd. in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. The company pioneered the concept of a patented beach blanket. (Patent # 4,703,528) The business achieved success in the manufacture and sale of its flagship product, the Rollé Beach Blanket. The blanket was honored with a utility patent in 1988. {see note above} Reno Rolle lives in Ojai, CA with his wife Lynn and two children.
