With partner Victoria Sinitsina, he is the 2010–2011 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist. He is the brother of Nelli Zhiganshina who competes for Germany.[1] As of 11 December 2010 (2010 -12-11)[update], they have the season's 17th highest total score.[2] As of 3 January 2011 (2011 -01-03)[update], the International Skating Union (ISU) ranks them 35th in the world.[3] Contents 1 Career 2 Programs 3 Competitive highlights 4 References Career Sinitsina and Zhiganshin at the 2009 JGP Lake Placid Zhiganshin began skating at the age of four.[4] Sinitsina and Zhiganshina debuted on the Junior Grand Prix circuit at the 2008 Merano Cup where they finished 6th. The following JGP season, they finished 5th at both of their events. They won a pair of silver medals during the 2010-2011 JGP season and qualified for the JGP Final where they also won the silver behind Ksenia Monko and Kirill Khaliavin. They withdrew from the 2011 Russian Junior Championships due to Sinitsina's illness.
