This supports the church itself and the parish hall as well as the vicarage and the parish gardens in Mitteldorf. In addition Großburgwedel is the seat of the diocese of Burgdorfer Land, which is responsible for the parishes of Burgdorf and Burgwedel-Langenhagen.
